Third Door Media Names Henry Powderly As New Head Of Content

Editorial leader with diverse digital publishing and audience development experience to oversee online content and conference programming.

REDDING, CT – AUGUST 20, 2018 – Third Door Media (TDM) today named Henry Powderly Vice President – Content, responsible for all editorial operations. TDM publishes content for marketers on its category leading sites, Search Engine Land, Marketing Land and MarTech Today, and produces the Search Marketing Expo® and MarTech® conferences series.

Powderly will develop and implement content strategy across TDM’s properties, oversee content production and staff, and be a member of the company’s senior leadership team.

Powderly held a variety of senior editorial positions at healthcare publisher HIMSS Media prior to joining TDM, including Senior Manager, Digital Content Strategy and Editor-In-Chief of Healthcare Finance. Prior to joining HIMSS, he held editorial roles at New York-based news organizations including Newsday, AOL/ and Long Island Business News, while also serving as an instructor for Stony Brook University’s Center for News Literacy.
