Redding, CT – November 19, 2007 – Search Marketing Expo – SMX West today revealed the agenda for the upcoming SMX West conference, to be held February 26-28, 2008 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The agenda for the three-day multiple track event contains more than 50 sessions focusing on all aspects of search marketing.

The conference is programmed by renowned search experts Danny Sullivan and Chris Sherman, who programmed the industry’s first conference ten years ago. The full SMX West agenda is available online.

Search marketers of all skill and experience levels, from novice to expert will benefit from attending SMX West. “In developing the agenda, our focus was on two things: first, ensuring that we had the absolute best, completely undiluted search marketing content,” said Sullivan. “Second, we focused on making sure that any marketer who attends will be able to walk out of the conference and immediately implement techniques and best practices they learned at the show.

“Our agenda—with more than fifty sessions covering everything from search marketing fundamentals in the SMX Boot Camp, to previews of Search 3.0 and 4.0 concepts for very experienced search marketers—is the end result of that focus,”‘ Sullivan added. “In addition, our satisfaction guarantee makes attending SMX West a risk-free proposition for anyone needing to get in or stay current with search marketing.”

SMX West will feature sessions devoted to a wide variety of search marketing topics, including:

• Paid search: Avoiding pay-per-click pitfalls, decrypting quality scores and defending your budget against new ad fads.
