Leads. Thought leadership. Industry recognition. Here’s what to expect from MarTech and SMX.
After 14 months of abnormal, it feels like things are settling down a bit. That’s about to change again as we recover and business travel begins to return. We’re all looking forward to seeing each other again, when it’s safe and makes business sense.
Generating leads has been reimagined during the lockdown, and the success of virtual exceeded expectations in terms of volume and cost. Still, replicating the full in-person experience remains elusive.
We believe the future is both in-person and online lead generation. You should participate in each for the unique value they provide. We’re publishing this roadmap for MarTech and Search Marketing Expo – SMX so you can choose what’s right for you and plan your participation.
2021 roadmap: delivering guarantees results while eliminating risk
For the remainder of 2021, MarTech and Search Marketing Expo – SMX will be produced virtually.
All virtual event sponsorship packages include a guaranteed lead volume, so you’ll be certain your demand gen goals are achieved based on the level you choose. An added benefit of this approach is eliminating the risk that, despite an increasingly vaccinated population, COVID roars back in certain parts of the country, forcing the closure of event venues and extended travel restrictions.
The results virtual events achieved to date made this approach even more attractive. MarTech in March was the largest ever. SMX Report and Create, held in February and April, both exceeded their attendance targets. The effects of Zoom fatigue are not being universally experienced.
Want the details on attendance and lead delivery? Drop us an email and we’ll share. Here’s the schedule for the remainder of 2021:
In-person and virtual in 2022
MarTech and SMX will be produced once each in-person in 2022. We expect there to be pent-up demand to attend these events and the limited in-person schedule to concentrate the attendance.
MarTech will return to the San Jose Convention Center, April 19-20, and SMX will be held at Seattle’s Bell Harbor International Conference Center at the beginning of June. (The dates are not final until the 2022 cruise schedule is published, which usually happens in May of the preceding year.)
MarTech has been completely reimagined in order to connect exhibitors with delegates. By locating educational sessions on stages on the event floor, delegates will move freely from sessions to exhibitors. Keynote presentations will be held off the show floor prior to the expo opening.
SMX Advanced has gathered the most senior audience in search engine marketing for the last 15 years. The unique Advanced experience is a blend of the marketers who attend, an outstanding educational programming, fun networking events, a one-of-a-kind facility and the beauty of Seattle in June.
We’ll supplement the in-person schedule with an aggressive virtual event schedule as well. We’ll be finalizing the schedule by mid-year, and publishing an update at that time.
